Purpose

Use this template to establish a current-state baseline before designing curriculum, training, or Builder cohorts.

Capability ladder

Evidence requirements

L1 evidence

• Can turn a vague task into a clear prompt.
• Adds enough context for useful output.
• Iterates without waiting for help.
• Checks facts, tone, and suitability before using the output.

L2 evidence

• Can brief a multi-step task.
• Can attach or point to relevant source material.
• Can define review gates and boundaries.
• Can turn the output into a real business deliverable.

L3 evidence

• Can identify a repeated workflow worth packaging.
• Can define inputs, outputs, risks, and review rules.
• Can ship a reusable asset that others can use.
• Can improve the workflow based on adoption and quality feedback.

Interpretation

• If L1 is low, start with baseline literacy and verification habits.
• If L1 is high but L2 is low, teach delegation, context packaging, and review.
• If L2 exists but L3 is missing, select Builders and scope shared workflows.
• If L3 exists but adoption is low, fix reinforcement, manager sponsorship, and workflow packaging.
