AI Adoption Reinforcement Plan
Purpose
Training creates a spike. Reinforcement creates capability.
Use this plan after an AI training program, Builder cohort, or department workflow launch.
Owners
| Role | Owner | Responsibility | | --- | --- | --- | | Executive sponsor | | Keeps the capability priority visible. | | Program owner | | Runs cadence, metrics, and artifact library. | | Manager sponsor | | Reinforces behavior in weekly team rhythms. | | Builder | | Maintains reusable workflow assets. | | Learners | | Use the workflows and contribute examples. |
Weekly cadence
| Rhythm | Owner | Format | Output | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Workflow win review | Manager | 10 minutes in team meeting | One useful AI-assisted output shared | | Builder office hour | Builder | 30 minutes | Questions answered, friction logged | | Artifact update | Program owner | Async | Library updated with prompts, SOPs, and examples | | Risk review | Manager or sponsor | Async or live | Escalations and guardrail updates |
30/60/90-day measurement
| Timing | Measurement | | --- | --- | | Day 30 | Active users, shipped examples, manager-reported blockers | | Day 60 | Repeat usage, workflow quality, time saved, adoption by segment | | Day 90 | Target-level movement, Builder coverage, reusable assets shipped | | Month 6 | Sustained usage, workflow maintenance, new-hire onboarding inclusion |
Artifact library
Keep this intentionally basic:
- Baseline assessment.
- Role pathways.
- Builder workflow specs.
- Reusable prompts and commands.
- Example outputs.
- Review rules and forbidden actions.
- Adoption metrics.
Anti-decay rules
- Every training path must ship a real artifact.
- Every Builder workflow must have an owner.
- Every manager must reinforce one behavior weekly.
- Every reusable workflow must include review gates.
- Every month needs one adoption signal beyond attendance.
